wow! fifteen years and three kids later...who'da thunk?

mom and dad ditched the kids for a few days and headed to sonoma to enjoy perfect weather, wine, and lots of spa pampering.

if you ever get the chance, The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and Spa is top notch. we had such a good time and can't wait to do it again someday. The food and wine were awesome and it was just the relaxing few days we needed.

I didn't take too many pictures because it was hard to hold my camera and a wine glass at the same time. I was able to snap a few of kassondra and here is one of my favorites.

nixon got a new little sand table and he's diggin' it...literally.

of course, most of the sand goes on to the deck and we've already been through a whole bag, but hey, it's just sand.

nixon is 14 months old and his hair is soooooo curly.

people keep asking us if we're going to cut it but we can't seem to bring ourselves to do it yet. selfish? maybe, but we love his beautiful curly locks...

he's into everything and while jesa wishes he wouldn't be soooo into her stuff, we wouldn't have it any other way.
